Where we are

The Millipede studio is on a street which can be a little difficult to find, in a suburb only the exceedingly cool have heard of. So we decided to dedicate a page to finding us.

Walnut Street is best entered from Balmain Street. Here it is actually a street, whereas north of us Walnut Street is an alley which can barely fit a car and ends abruptly at a three storey concrete wall aside a car park. Taxi drivers often give up at this point, lest they become much too cool when they finally realise that Walnut Street continues south of Balmain Street.

If you look us up on Google Maps Street View, you can clearly see our studio: 126 Walnut Street. I think we are somewhere behind that truck. Or in it.

Cremorne? Where is that?! We’ve had many arguments over the existence of Cremorne with delivery companies, but we can assure you it does indeed exist. It has the same postcode as Richmond and comprises a chaotic pocket of light industrial meets latte chugging counter-culture next to the Yarra River.

Some interesting information on Cremorne can be found on this obscure website: Cremorne Gardens.

So now you know where we are and a bit of local history, drop by sometime. We’re always up for a chat, some foosball, or a bit of Mario Kart action. We’ll even make you a latte.
